Don’t go into this book thinking it’s like her other stories. It’s very different. In a great way though. This is written slightly darker as well. Humans don’t know about shifters. We do get witches though! We don’t get the information all at once in this book and I have no doubt she’ll get to it in the other books in the series. I really loved it. Couldn’t put it down. One negative aspect is there are a few editing errors which is not the norm. It ends on HEA not a cliffhanger but it’s obvious it’s not finished.Gentry is the prodigal son but he so doesn’t want to be. Because his father treated him as the favorite, as kids his brothers Asher and Roman alienated him and perhaps hated him a little for it. Gentry, Roman, and Asher don’t live close. They are all rogues and do their own thing. Gentry takes care of bad shifters who kill for no reason or harm humans. He gets the news that his father was killed and his brothers leave him with the details only showing up when it’s time to spread the ashes.
Blaire has been married to her job ever since her marriage failed and ended in divorce. She clings to things she needs to let go. So, she’s forced to take a vacation and meets Gentry and very sexy growly man. It’s really instant lust for both. Werewolves aren’t to be with humans though. It’s just not done. Blaire is so very funny and their first meeting was awesome. Knowing he cannot have her he tries to keep her at arm’s length but that doesn’t go very long. His wolf rides him hard to be with her. A crap ton of stuff happens in this book but I am not going to give it all away. Will Gentry and Blaire find a way to be together? What happens when she finds out what he is?
Can’t wait for the next book!

A spine-tingling romantic tale with family drama, family secrets, deadly danger, suspense, action, life-threatening incidents and a happy ending after all the obstacles are conquered.
Gentry Striker and his brothers have been called back to their hometown Rangeley to settle their dad’s affairs. Their dad was the alpha of the pack and the new alpha is a notorious monster. Gentry is said to be the dad’s favorite which has always made his brothers hate him. Blaire Hayward’s best friend felt she needed a vacation from work and also time away from the home she shared with her ex-husband. Her birthday vacation gift is a week in the town of Rangeley in a cabin owned by Gentry. Gentry and his wolf take a liking to the human beauty but in this wolf world humans are forbidden and death could be her fate. Gentry must protect Blaire from the onslaught of the danger that awaits them and Gentry's brothers must decide to either put aside their differences or lose him forever.
A fantastic beginning to a wild new series; fast-paced, wonderfully written and definitely a page turner. The author immediately lures you into the story with the intriguing plot, witty dialogue, humor, and flirtatious and powerful vivid scene descriptions. The action is exciting and I loved the interaction between the brothers. Gentry is definitely an alpha but his tender love and devotion shine for Blaire. Blaire is sassy, sweet and fearless. Their romance is filled with fiery sensuous passion. The ending is awesome. I found this to be an exhilarating and most entertaining read and can’t wait for Roman’s book. In the world of shifter romance, the magic begins with the first world to paper. Without reservations, I recommend this book.
Not so surprisingly, TS Joyce delivered another fabulous story. This time we're in a new world where werewolves are in hiding and definitely not supposed to mate with humans. It's rather a surprise to Gentry when it turns out he's crazy attracted to our fun and very human Blaire. Once again we have a group of wolves, brothers to be exact, who can't seem to get along. This is a story of healing old hurts and learning to love. As for my normal checklist, TS Joyce hits them all well developed world, interesting characters I can connect with, a good plot, well written. Throw in the bonuses of laugh-out-loud funny (man do I need to find a time to use the word "Sexypotamus") and smoking hot sex scenes and this book is a definite must read. I'll definitely be following this new series. This was a fabulous beginning and I can't wait to see where my favorite author takes us from here.
Gentry, book one in TS Joyce's new series, was breathtaking. I couldn't put it down. I was sad to leave the last series, but this new one...right out the gate, it's just as good!
I fell for Gentry from the beginning of the book. Handsome badass wolf, and the sweetest guy. And Blaire was someone I would love to be friends with. She has a sense of humor that kept me rolling throughout the whole book.
Every time I finish a TS Joyce book, I think then next one can't possibly be as good as that one. But they always are! I haven't read one book by this author that I didn't fall in love with. And although they're all a favorite in some way, this one is close to the top for me. I can't wait for Roman, book two!
